Spiced Fig Chutney from Provence

Jacqueline and Francis Honore make this incredible chutney with figs from their own farm and Spanish sherry vinegar. It's rich, subtly spiced, and beautifully balanced between sweet and tart. It's extraordinary with a good Provencale goat's cheese, but try it with apples, charcuterie and foie gras, too.
